Tracee Cornforth

Hi everyone! Come along with me on the Adoption Reunion Tour. My Name is Tracee, and I'm an adoptee, a birth mom and a single parent. I live in Dallas, TX with my ten-year-old son, Nathan. I'm also mom to Julie, who is 22, and birth mom to Aaron, who is 19. I was able to locate my birth son, using the Internet, only three weeks after joining a birth moms support email list.

Many people have asked me, "How do you search on the Internet?" So, in answer to that question, here are some of the best links to everything you need to know, to begin your adoption search on the Internet. There are thousands of people searching; maybe someone is looking for you!

Alana's Birth Mom Page

All birth moms need to visit Alana's page and join her birth moms email list! If you're searching, everything anyone needs to know can be found on this page! This is home of the Sunflower Birth Moms group, the sweetest bunch of Angels on the internet. It's an excellent site full of imperative information for all members of the Adoption Triad!

AIML Adoptee s Page and E-Mail List

This is the place for adoptees to go! You must be either an adoptee or an adoptee-lite (someone who never knew one of their birth parents and wants to find or know them) to be on this wonderful email list. An extraordinary amount of important adoption searching links and information wait for you on the AIML Home Page.

The Lost and Found List

A fairly recent addition to adoption email lists. This is a list for anyone who is touched by adoption; adoptees; birth parents; adoptive parents; siblings; spouses, etc. This is a wonderful list where everyone can get together and learn to understand one another's feelings. To join, click on the link and type "subscribe lfl" in the body message area. Highly recommended!

Voices of Adoption Page

This page is filled with several heart-touching reunion stories from birth moms, adoptees, and adoptive parents. Get a box of tissues before you read these wonderful stories of birth parents and adoptees meeting and getting to know each other. Reunion is an emotional roller-coaster; be prepared when your turn comes!

KKay's Adoption Corner

Karen is a uniquely reunited birth mom; Karen and her birth son, Ken are so reunited, in fact, that she has legally adopted him back! There's an enormous amount of search information here; Karen maintains a search registration database and also happens to be an top-rate adoption searcher. This is a superb page chock-full of worthwhile resources!

LINC Reunion Registry

This is the former AOL reunion registry, and probably the most important registry online. Be sure you register your search here; the new additions to this registry are posted to the adoption email lists weekly for members to search. It has a free, easy to search database; see if someone's already looking for you!

TLC'S Rose Garden

This is my home page. Come and see me sometime; my page features information on a variety of topics including: adoption, child support, Dallas, education, fun, writers and much more. Good luck in your searches; I wish you all a very happy reunion!
